Cardboard Connection put up a nice post/gallery for the 60 years of Topps

Personal favorites are:

1978 Topps: Love the simple design and team name script. And the 4 quadrant rookie cards were brilliant.

1981 Topps: for some reason, I never can forget these hats and it was, for me, just a memorable design.

1987 Topps: Seems to be a common favorite. The wood paneling and the massive rookie collection it had.

Making history on COMC

Well, it was nice to make “history” on checkoutmycards. Purchased a 3,000+ card portfolio (mostly low-end cards). Didn’t realize it was the first official port sale, but glad to be a part of it. In any case, I’ll have an interesting time going through the port, re-pricing a few of them, but likely holding onto the majority of them for awhile.
